N003 The Splitted Project [2022]

N003 The Splitted Project concerns two family residences located in one splitted plot in the Suburbs of the city of Ioannina, Greece in a residential area. The design objectives were defined from the need of a separation of the plot in order to emerge two autonomus functional “sub-plots” for the two families. In order to design the ‘Splitted’ a sun & wind analysis of this specific area were carried out so as to find the best alternatives to the forms arrangement on the plot to protect the home from the prevailing winter’s strong winds but also to bring into the cool summer breezes.

Each residence is structured in two floors where at the first floor the extrovert side of the house is located such as kitchen, dining & living room and at the upper level the introvert such as rooms and family’s bath.
