The AD House
The AD HOUSE represents a radical renovation of a single-family house built in the 1980s, fully redesigned today to accommodate the needs of a new family. The main goal of the design was to create an environment that combines comfort and functionality with a modern aesthetic. Throughout the design process, considerations were made for constraints such as structural adequacy, building legislation, and financial limitations, while various options for redesigning the residence were proposed. The functional organization of the space reflects the daily life of the family, while the sophisticated use of lighting creates various levels of brightness, adding depth to the space. The kitchen, considered the common core of the home, is designed with ergonomics and social interaction in mind. With a cooking island that doubles as a dining table, the kitchen becomes a place for gathering and creating moments for the family. The bedrooms are designed with a focus on privacy and comfort. Large windows allow natural light to permeate the space, while the choices of colors and materials create a sense of calmness and familiarity.
