Old Bakery to apartment Renovation

Located in a 1970 apartment building in the dense urban fabric of Ioannina the Baked Apartment concerns the renovation of an old unused bakery . The old bakery of an area up to 80sqm is now conceived as 2 urban lofts of 40 sqm each. Desire of the old bakery owners was the urban loft to have a new retro vibe similar to the 70s apartment building but in contemporary conditions. In order to meet the preferred interior atmosphere vibrant, saturated colors are used to add energy and personality to modern retro interiors, natural materials such as wood are incorporated in order to add warmth and texture to the space. Clean lines and simple forms are combined with retro elements to create a balanced look that feels both nostalgic and contemporary. Arc floor lamps, pendant lights with retro-inspired designs and retro artwork help to reinforce the nostalgic vibe of modern retro interiors.
